A Condolence Book was opened at the office of the Honorary Consulate-General of France on Tuesday the 13th and Wednesday the 14th of January 2015. Flowers, pens, candles and posters were spontaneously placed at the front of the consular agency. Approximately 80 persons came and signed the book.
Words are inadequate to fully convey the sorrow, the outrage and the incomprehension created by gratuitous acts of violence and hatred such as those recently committed in Sydney and Paris.
Words, flowers, gatherings do help however to bring comfort and support to the relations of the victims and to us all who feel solidarity with them.
