The Annual General Meeting of the Victoria Consular Corps was held on 19 September. After the Secretary’s report on the activities of 2022-2023, and the Treasurer’s financial report, the Dean of the Consular Corps, Mr. Ziad Itani, CG of Lebanon,  announced that his term as Dean would soon end but that the Vice-Dean, Dr. Hamood Al Wardi, CG of Oman would take over.

Following a speech by Mr.Tim Kane, the State Director of DFAT, the new board was elected, with Ms. Katz, Consul General of New Zealand, becoming the new representative of career diplomats.
