The Awards Ceremony 2015 was held on Wednesday, November 25th in Melbourne at St Kilda Town Hall.
The Berthe Mouchette Competition plays a key role in the promotion of Francophone language and culture. In this competition students had to recite, discuss, or visually depict a French poem chosen by the panel.The Berthe Mouchette competition is held each year and brings together 16,000 students from primary and secondary schools around Victoria.
Only 500 students reached the final round! Congratulations to all the winners!
Mr Gilbert Ducasse, the President of the Alliance Française, delivered a warm welcome to the students, their parents and teachers before awarding a number of prizes. Mrs Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie, Honorary Consul General of France in Melbourne, presented the prizes from the Embassy and the Honorary Consulate General .
