Brighton Primary School Opts for French!

On Friday 26 March, the parents’ committee of Brighton Primary School had invited the Honorary Consul General of France in Melbourne to be part of a special lunch, held at the Royal Yacht Club of Brighton.

The reason for the invitation was to celebrate the fact that Brighton Primary School has just changed it language other than English [LOTE] from Italian to French! The mood was festive and the audience happy to drink Pommery Champagne. Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie was asked to select the most elegantly dressed person in the room and before she said a few words about French culture.

The Principal, French teacher and the parent’s comittee were delighted from the buzz in the room and the enthusiasm about their selection of LOTE.  Well done BPS!
