On 10 May, to celebrate Europe Day 2021, the Consular Corps of Melbourne, along with AIIA and the RMIT European Centre, held a conference on the topic of the European Green Deal After the Pandemic.

The three panelists, the European Union Ambassador to Australia, HE Mr Michael Pulch, David Suder from Monash University, and award-winning author of the Carbon Club Marian Wilkinson, discussed both the Australian and EU climate change positions, strategies for a carbon neutral future and Australia’s place in the fight for the environment.

It was a very interesting forum with a very engaged audience.
