On Friday 23rd February, the Hon. Linda Dessau, Governor of Victoria, officially opened the new exhibition gallery  at the Shrine of Remembrance, dedicated to recent conflicts. The gallery is an important place to commemorate and pay tribute to the modern day ANZACs .

Following the Governor’s speech, there was a discussion panel gathering Australian Veterans of the War in Afghanistan and an Army doctor. They each gave a thought-provoking and poignant account of their experiences at the front and the back lines.
