On Monday 26 November, the Honorary French Consulate of Melbourne hosted the award ceremony honoring Prof Kerry Mullan who was awarded the insignia Chevalier de l’Ordredes Palmes Académiques. The Ceremony was held in front of many friends, family and colleagues of Prof Mullan, including Emeritus Professor Colin Nettelbeck who talked about the contribution of Kerry to the Institute of Studies of French-Australian Relations [ISFAR] of which she is the current President.
The Honorary Consul General of France, Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie, talked about the rich and long carrier of Prof. Kerry Mullan and congratulated her on her remarkable contribution to the development of the French culture and the French language before bestowing her the medal. The evening finished with Champagne for the delight of everyone!
