On March 16th, the Premier of Victoria, the Hon. Daniel Andrews, invited H.E. Mr Christophe Lecourtier Ambassador of France to Australia, for a cup of tea in compagny of the Honorary Consul-General of France in Melbourne, Mrs Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie.
It was an opportunity to highlight the strong ties that unite France and Australia and particularly the State of Victoria which host the second largest French community after the New South Wales.
It was an informal discussion on French-Australians relations. The Premier emphasised the strength of the French-Australian long standing friendship, and the need to nurture it through economic, cutural or educational projects.
