Bastille Day French Festival Masterclasses

Do you want to know more about the process of making cheese? Perhaps you are more interested in fashion and the like? Or is wine more to your taste? Well now you have your chance to learn a bit about these unapologetically French things!

Bastille Day French Festival is hosting a variety of masterclasses each with a different topic and each hosted by respected professionals.

  • All Things French with Fragrance

Hosted by fashion doyenne Christine Barro, enjoy stories on the heroes of haute couture and expert instruction on the selection of a signature French scent, enjoyed with French champagne and festive macarons.

This masterclass runs from 11:00 am to 11:45 am, Saturday, 16 July 2022 at Christine.

  •  A Taste of France

Hosted by Ivan from Long Paddock Cheese, enjoy as he presents 5 artisan cheeses paired with 5 glasses of wine, guided by Joshua from M. Chapoutier.

This masterclass has two sessions. Both sessions will be held at Upper Edge in The Edge at Fed Square. The first session is on Saturday, 16 July 2022, from 2:15 pm to 3:00 pm. The second session is on Sunday, 17 July 2022 from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm

Hosted by Australian Distilling Co., Learn the history of gin and vodka in this masterclass, along with how to make two classic cocktails the French Martini and the French 75 served with a macaron.
