On Monday the 4th of November, the Alliance Française, the ISFAR and the RMIT will be presenting a new intercultural dialogue with the Melbourne Salon at the Alliance Française. The discussion will focus on the crucial role of language in International negociations, and especially its impact in the current French-Australian submarine project.
Emmanuelle Crane, geopolitical analyst, commentator and specialist on intercultural issues in the defence industry, will share her experience as an expert. She will question the role of language in enhancing dialogue and eliminating misunderstandings that can occur in the sensitive defence industry, by taking the example of the recent negotiation of the submarines contract between France and Australia..
