The Night of Ideas is coming to Melbourne! This global event designed by the French Institute [Institut Francais] and the French Embassy will take place at the National Gallery of Victoria on March 1st 2024.
A yearly celebration of arts, culture, science and philosophy, The Night of Ideas will bring together scientists, writers, activists and artists from Australia, Europe, Northern America, the Pacific and Asia.
For its 9th edition, the iconic event is back with a brand-new theme: “Fault Line” after Nancy Huston’s 2006 novel. Through the Fault Lines, the event wishes to explore the lines that divide us, the tipping points of our contemporary societies and how to bridge and mend our communities. Bring your family and friends for a fascinating evening!
