The 30th Anniversary of l’Alliance Française’s French Film Festival !

The French Film Festival of Alliance française is back! This year, the Festival will celebrate its 30th Anniversary! Don’t miss the wide selection of French films screening in Melbourne’s Palace Cinemas from 6 March until 10 April, as Artistic Director, Philippe Platel, has lovingly selected a superlative line-up of 54 features and documentaries – the biggest in the Festival’s proud history.

Showcasing works from prodigies of French cinema (Yann Gonzalez, Mikhaël Hers, Coralie Fargeat, Jeanne Herry…) alongside those who inspired them (Claire Denis, Jean-Luc Godard, Olivier Assayas, Jacques Audiard), indulge in a voyage into the broad spectrum of French cinema. This year’s edition will also be a celebration of young and adventurous French filmmakers delivering exciting new genre films.
