On 30 September, the first instalment of what is to become an entertaining series, the University of Melbourne French Club (MUFC) brought together students, francophiles and a panel of guest speakers from the Victorian Francophone community for a virtual Discourse on French Life.

More than 45 participants listened to the Honorary French Consul General, Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie; Michael Bula (Notary spcialised in International real estate); Véronique Duché (A.R. Chisholm Professor, University of Melbourne); Sara Harrington ( Event Manager, Alliance Française); Jacqueline Dutton (UoM Head of Languages) discuss their relationship with the French language and culture, and offer their experiences on how pursuing French can be so rewarding beyond classroom walls.
