This year, the Bastille Day French Festival of Melbourne was cancelled… like so many events throughout the world… But the organising committee is already putting their thinkinb caps on to prepare for 2021. Will it be a real festival? a virtual event? a combination of both? Nobody knows yet!

The Association Bastille Day French Festival Inc. is having its AGM on the 22nd of September. On this occasion, the lovely Dr Jane Gilmour will pass the baton of the presidency after three years at the helm. Jane has been a dedicated, professional and indefatigable leader of the Festival and the French community owes her a great deal. Thank you on behalf of us all.
