On Thursday 15 February,  the traditional Café de la Rentrée [Back to school morning tea] was held at the French consulate. This event was organised by Melbourne Accueil in collaboration with French Assist.

It was around a coffee and delicious pastries that the members and presidents of the various French associations in Victoria looked back on the year 2023, recapitulating all projects that were carried out, before defining their objectives for 2024.

Welcome by Myriam Boisbouvier Wylie

This was an opportunity for the Honorary Consul General of France in Melbourne, Myriam Boisbouvier Wylie to thank the amazing work accomplished by each association, highlighting the dynamism of the community in Melbourne.

The presidents then had the opportunity to say a few words to thank their own volunteers and showcase their projects for the coming year. It was a really nice morning, full of good vibes and animated chatter.
