The Centenary of the First World War has invoked a growing interest among French and Australian schools in the development of exchange partnerships between their different institutions.
For instance, since April 2014, a partnership was established between the Year 5 classes of Sainte Marie, Déville-lès-Rouen, and Tarneit Prep to 9 in Victoria.
Communicating via letters and the internet, the students meet each other and interact in the two languages.
We are delighted that this partnership has been forged and we congratulate the teachers for their initiative.
