French Scientist to win the Picchi Award for Clinical Science

French pediatric oncologist Dr Deborah Meyran has been bestowed the prestigious Picchi award for Clinical Science for 2020. Awarded by the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre and the Picchi Brothers Foundation, this award acknowledges top-class PhD candidates embarking on their careers.

There are three talented researchers who received $ 10,000 each to extend their research and develop global collaborations. Deborah, also wife of French national Natanael Bloch, has developed a new type of CAR-T cell for therapeutic use; this new cells has better anti-tumour abilities. Well done and COCORICO!
