In August, Glen Eira College signed a convention agreement with CNED (Centre National d’Enseignement à Distance).
Glen Eira College is the first school in Australia to have signed such an agreement These conventions fall within the recommendations of the Ministère des Affaires Etrangères.
Since 2007, the French 1st language program at GEC has enabled selected students to follow French, History/Geography subjects at a French level equivalent – level guaranteed by the CNED- whilst following the VELS curriculum, with the option of joining an Accelerated program (ACE) and to do Maths in French.
The program is continuously improving and evolving as evident with the signing of the Convention with CNED.
