Attention to the scatterbrains!

The Consulate General of France in Sydney has informed us that from now on, French passports that have been lost and found, will automatically be destroyed, whether these documents have been declared as lost/stolen or not.

This new measure is meant to protect you. Your lost passport can indeed be interfered with and be used  for an usurpation of identity or other offence.

So we invite you to declare the loss or theft of your travel document as soon as possible and to renew your passport immediately afterwards.
