Following his letter to all French citizens, President of the Republic Emmannuel Macron has launched the Grand National Debate (Le Grand Débat National). This civic consultation is open for submissions from January 15, 2019 to March 15, 2019.

Four major themes have been chosen:

  • Taxation and public spending
  • Organisation of public services
  • Ecological transition
  • Democracy and citizenship
